Bling Bling's Power Hour

Critical Analysis

As the lead programmer and mentor to 7 other team members, my role in this project was to bring the ideas of the designers to life using my programming and Unreal Engine 4 knowledge.

My contributions included programming the movement of the character, its actions within the game environment (shoot, grappling, jump, escalator movement), and underwater breath meter. In-game event triggers were programmed as per the level design developed by the game designers. Bringing the assets, developed by the artists, together in the engine as per the design was also done by myself. 
I also had contributed to the design of in-game mechanics, ie, rotating arm, and shoot-to-jump. 

Bling Bling's Power Hour was my first team project and I am proud to say that we approached our work with sincerity and diligence to deliver the puzzle game.
